Changing the menu buttons positions on Ubuntu 11.10

Hello

I’m still setting up my Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot). Let’s change the menu buttons (minimize, maximize, close) position to the right (again).

Open your Terminal
$ sudo apt-get install gconf-editor

Run it
$ gconf-editor

Go to “apps/metacity/general/”
Find “button_layout” and update the value to:

menu:minimize,maximize,close

Save, logout, login. Done!

Best Regards,
Matheus

  1. My friends would appreciate a few of these posts and I will be sending links accordingly, and a look at yarrowzone added more pages to my share queue, content that earns shares to specific people in specific contexts is content with social utility and this site is generating those targeted shares from me consistently lately.
