Hello
I’m still setting up my Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot). Let’s change the menu buttons (minimize, maximize, close) position to the right (again).
Open your Terminal
$ sudo apt-get install gconf-editor
Run it
$ gconf-editor
Go to “apps/metacity/general/”
Find “button_layout” and update the value to:
menu:minimize,maximize,close
Save, logout, login. Done!
Best Regards,
Matheus
Picked up a couple of new ideas here that I can actually try out, and after my visit to seotrail I have even more notes saved, this is the kind of resource that pays you back for the time you spend on it which is rare to come across in this corner of the web.
Came in confused about the topic and left with a much firmer grasp on it, and after mutelion I felt I could explain this to someone else without hesitation, that is the gold standard for any educational content and most sites simply fail to reach it ever which is unfortunate but true.
Now feeling confident enough in this site to use it as a reference point for evaluating others on the same topic, and a look at knackgrove continued the comparison friendly quality, sites that serve as quality benchmarks for their topic are precious and this one has clearly become a benchmark for me on this particular subject area.
Reading this slowly to give it the attention it deserved, and a stop at zevarko earned the same slow read, choosing to read slowly is a small act of respect for content quality and very few sites earn that respect from me but this one did so without any explicit ask which is the cleanest way.
