Going back to Gnome Classic on Ubuntu 11.10

Published by Matheus (X-warrior) Bratfisch on October 13, 2011

Good Night!

Everybody probably knows that today Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot was released. I just finish my installation and I couldn’t find the Gnome Classic option. Then I remembered somebody told me I need to install “gnome-session-fallback” to get it again.

Use:
$ sudo apt-get install gnome-session-fallback

Logout. Press the gear and choose Gnome Classic.

That is it!

    Signed up at Lottoland Casino for about four months, so the honeymoon phase is well behind me. A friend recommended it for the lotto products, and then discovered the casino section. The gaming section covers more ground than I expected, combining lotto draws with slots and table games.

    Providers on the casino side include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Red Tiger and a handful of others. The top titles are easy to find, though the total count is lower than a standalone casino. The real draw is the lottery product: results from lotteries around the world are covered, and the jackpot sizes can be staggering. Scratchcards and quick games fill out the rest.

    The sign-up deal at Lottoland depends on where you are: often a free bet plus some bonus funds. Deposit matches for the casino show up now and then, although the lotto side gets more attention. The live bonus details can be found at lottoland since they rotate regularly. Wagering terms on casino bonuses sit around 30 to 40x.

    Minimum deposit is low: lottery entries start from a pound. The usual cards plus PayPal are accepted. Cashouts via e-wallet took under twenty-four hours, card payouts took a bit longer. Document check went smoothly — uploaded a driving licence and a bank statement, done in a few hours.

    There is a proper app for phone and tablet, and the interface is clean. Draw results appear as they happen, and the slot section works well on the smaller screen. Support is available via live chat and email, replies come within a few minutes. Dual licensed, Gibraltar and UK, so there is genuine oversight. Overall a solid platform.
