Verify if a process is executing and notificate via e-mail on Windows

Published by Matheus (X-warrior) Bratfisch on April 16, 2012

Hello,

A few days ago my friend need a Visual Basic Script to verify if a process is running and if it is send an e-mail. He asked me for help to code it, and I helped him.

Visual Basic Script to verify if a process is running and notify via e-mail.

Verify if a process is running with Visual Basic Script and shows a window if it is.
set service = GetObject (“winmgmts:”)
for each Process in Service.InstancesOf (“Win32_Process”)
If Process.Name = processName then
wscript.echo “Notepad running”
wscript.quit
End If
next
Send an e-mail using Visual Basic Script
Const username = “USERNAME”
Const password = “PASSWORD”
Const smtpServer = “smtp.gmail.com”
Const port = 465
Const secure = True
Const userFrom = “FROM”
Const userTo = “TO”
Const emailSubject = “Subject”
Const emailText = “Text”

‘== CODE ==

Const cdoSendUsingPickup = 1 ‘Send message using the local SMTP service pickup directory.
Const cdoSendUsingPort = 2 ‘Send the message using the network (SMTP over the network).

Const cdoAnonymous = 0 ‘Do not authenticate
Const cdoBasic = 1 ‘basic (clear-text) authentication
Const cdoNTLM = 2 ‘NTLM

Set objMessage = CreateObject(“CDO.Message”)
objMessage.Subject = emailSubject
objMessage.From = userFrom
objMessage.To = userTo
objMessage.TextBody = emailText

‘==This section provides the configuration information for the remote SMTP server.

objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item _
(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing”) = 2

‘Name or IP of Remote SMTP Servesr
objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item _
(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver”) = smtpServer

‘Type of authentication, NONE, Basic (Base64 encoded), NTLM
objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item _
(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpauthenticate”) = cdoBasic

‘Your UserID on the SMTP server
objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item _
(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusername”) = username

‘Your password on the SMTP server
objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item _
(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendpassword”) = password

‘Server port (typically 25)
objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item _
(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserverport”) = port

‘Use SSL for the connection (False or True)
objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item _
(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpusessl”) = secure

‘Connection Timeout in seconds (the maximum time CDO will try to establish a connection to the SMTP server)
objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item _
(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpconnectiontimeout”) = 60

objMessage.Configuration.Fields.Update

objMessage.Send
This two scripts are changed to work together to do what we want and have a config section.

Best Regards,
Matheus

Mein Geld kam bisher immer an.

    Been messing about at Trino for about four months now, usually in the evenings, so take this as one punter’s view. Joined because of a mate’s recommendation, and the whole thing took maybe three minutes — email, password, done, though you do need verification before the first payout, standard stuff with a UKGC licence.

    The lobby is pretty huge — somewhere north of 3,000 titles if the filter count is honest. Pragmatic takes up a lot of space, so you get the usual — Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza front and centre. Play’n Go supplies Book of Dead, and there’s a fair amount of NetEnt, Yggdrasil and Big Time Gaming knocking about. My go-to is the Megaways section when I’ve got a bit of budget to burn.

    The bonus at Trino Casino was 100% to ?500 with 200 spins, split across the first couple of deposits. Wagering is 40x, and that’s about average, not amazing. Min deposit sits at ?10. There’s a small no deposit thing sometimes — it rotates, so it’s worth a check the current terms over on casino trino rather than trusting my numbers.

    Payouts are the bit that matters, and on this front Trino Casino has behaved. Cashed out a few hundred to Neteller last week and it landed the same evening. Cards work, e-wallets are quicker, plus there’s Bitcoin and a couple of altcoins if that’s your thing. What did wind me up: bank transfers were painfully slow the first time.

    Support runs round the clock and the agents answered properly, though the first reply took a good quarter of an hour on a Saturday night. The live section is all Evolution, so real croupiers, decent blackjack and roulette tables, plus Crazy Time if you like the game show stuff — I don’t, much. There’s no dedicated app, only the mobile site, which loads quick enough but occasionally logs me out mid-spin.
