Modify Subscription style of Jetpack

I just started to use the Subscription feature from Jetpack. I was checking how it looks like and I noticed that the checkbox and the text were in different lines. There was a space between checkbox and “Notify me of follow-up comments by email.” and the same with “Notify me of new posts by email.”

This bug, does not happen on all themes, so I can’t guarantee that this is the solution for everybody. To fix it on my theme I changed the file “wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/subscriptions.php”

I updated lines 433, 434, 435:

    Not all sunshine though. The design feels very functional, let’s say — not much flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it works but the acca grid are a squeeze. And no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.

    So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, have a look — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

    Couple of gripes. Its layout feels pretty plain — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s fine although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

    So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you honestly adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
