Raspberry Pi with Raspbian dropping SSH connection

Published by Matheus (X-warrior) Bratfisch on October 26, 2012

I was playing with my Raspberry PI with Raspbian and the ssh connection was dropping (or timeouting, or something like this), I got a “Broken Pipe” message, and If I tried to connect again, it refuses it.

I don’t know why, but to fix it edit /etc/ssh/sshd_config with

sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config

Search for TCPKeepAlive and update it from yes to no

TCPKeepAlive no

It doesn’t make sense, I know, but it worked.

Abraços

You really make it seem so easy together with
your presentation but I to find this topic to be really
one thing that I think I would never understand.
It sort of feels too complex and very large for me. I’m having a look ahead for your next submit, I’ll attempt to
    get the cling of it!

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time
a comment is added I get several emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Thank you!

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this
blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough
to get that “perfect balance” between superb
usability and visual appeal. I must say you’ve done a awesome job with
this. Additionally, the blog loads super fast for me on Opera.
    Exceptional Blog!
